Welcome to the Spring Swap 2006.
You will have to tie a fly of your choice using materials not found in fly shops.
There are a lot of stuff around the house you can use for this: humain hair, jute, saran warp, tyvex, flip-flop rubber sole, embroidery floss, etc....
As an example I used once a tooth from an old comb to make the body of a nymph. Use the seal of a wine bottle... Let your imagination go wild. Use a known pattern but one part of the fly must be an item not found in fly shops.
We will call this swap: "Javiez Melgarejo" to honour this great originator
The principal of the swap is simple. You have until April 15th to register yourself anf then you have till May 15th to make and send your fly. Dont forget you make as many flies as there is participants and only one model.
Please do not be late in sending in your flies
The flies will have to be individualy packed in zip lock bags witht your name, description and name of fly.
Each participants will assume the cost of shipping and return of the flies. You will have a self addressed envelope with the ammount of stamps required for the return trip included in your shipment. Please do not attache the stamps to the return envelope
You fly will be shown on line at "Le Moucheux"
Just click on "Swap" on the home page of "Le Moucheux" to have access
